Explore one of the most incredible and significant country of the world: its diversity, history, art, culture,heritage & much more.... Highlights: Izmir, Kars, Ani, Mt. Nemrut, Cappadocia, Erzurum…
Our Itinerary
01st June
Istanbul - Izmir
Arrive in Istanbul and transfer for our domestic flight to Izmir. Check into our hotel, freshen up & explore the surroundings at leisure. Dinner & overnight at Swissotel or similar.
02nd June
16 Kusadasi
After an early breakfast we make our way to Euphesus & Sirince Village. We explore this ancient site & the ruins & spend major part of our day here. Dinner & overnight at Swissotel.
03rd June
Kusadasi to Kars via Istanbul
Early morning departure after breakfast for Kars via Istanbul. Check in to our hotel Cheltikov, freshen up & explore Kars town. Dinner & overnite at Kar’s Hotel.
04th June
Kars - Ani
After our b’fast we explore some historical sites around Kars & then drive to the ancient Armenian town of Ani. This World Heritage site has over a 100 chapels lying in ruins & is an incredible experience to walk around & get some great shots during the day. I have arranged for a special pass for our group to stay back till late & photograph the stars later in the night, provided the weather stays good. Return to Kars for dinner & overnite.
05th June
Kars - Erzurum
After our breakfast we check out & make our way to Erzurum which is a stop gap to get to Kahta. We take the road less travelled & see/photograph some stunning landscapes before reaching Erzurum late evening. Overnight Sway Hotel, Palandoken.
06th June
Erzurum - Kahta
After breakfast we make our way to Kahta arriving there by afternoon. We may explore the castle nearby before making our way to Mt. Nemrut. We hike up the summit & be ready to be amazed with what you see. We spend the time till sunset shooting the various gods in the surroundings they are in. Post sunset, I have arranged for a special permit to allow us to stay back & shoot the stars. Later we head back to our hotel Euphrat for dinner & overnite.
07th June
Kahta - Cappadocia
We have a really long drive to Cappadocia today. After b’fast we leave for our picturesque drive through the heart of Turkey arriving in Cappadocia by evening. Check into Millstone Cave Hotel & relax.
08-10th June
Cappadocia
We spend the day exploring this incredible landscape with its various geographical natural formations getting some interesting images. We will explore the underground cities & one of the days we will be going on a balloon ride. Overnite Millstone Cave Hotel.
11th June
Cappadocia onwards
After breakfast, we head back to Istanbul & from there you can either head back home or opt for an Istanbul extension.

11th June
Kayseri – Istanbul
After breakfast transfer to the airport for our flight to Istanbul. Check into our hotel, freshen up & after lunch visit Ortakoy & explore. Visit the Old City. Dinner & overnight at Corinne Art & Boutique Hotel.
12-13th June
Istanbul
We spend the entire day exploring Istanbul. Meandering through the quaint streets, visiting the popular mosques & getting pictures of this geographically most important city in the world. We visit the Balat & Galata regions & do a cruise on the bosphorous. All meals & overnight at Corinne Art & Boutique Hotel.
14th June
Istanbul onwards...
After breakfast, we visit the Grand Bazaar. Do some street photography, shopping at this historical bazaar. Lunch in one of the restaurants & later we get dropped off to the airport for our onward flight.
